Subject: Repair of 50 KVA Pole Mounted Transformer with Associated Electrical Works

Location: Shalimar Garden (Inside Lahore)

The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) invites e-bids from experienced contractors or contracting firms for the repair of a 50 KVA pole-mounted transformer along with associated electrical works at the historic Shalimar Garden in Lahore.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-6 or above.

• Contractors must have relevant experience in executing electrical works on historical monuments or World Heritage sites.

• A minimum of three completed work orders related to heritage monument sites is required.

Submission Requirements:

• Interested firms must submit their tender documents through the EPAD system.

• Submissions must include:

  • A valid PEC Registration Certificate

  • Professional Tax/FBR Certificate for electrical network

  • Evidence of relevant experience

Bid Security:

• A bid security amount of Rs. 33,255/- (approximately 3% of the estimated cost) is required.

• This must be issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan, in favor of the Director General, WCLA Lahore.

Bidding Procedure:

• The bidding will follow the Single-Stage Two Envelope procedure, as per the rules of PPRA Punjab.

Deadline and Opening of Bids:

• E-Bids must be submitted by 12:00 PM on 6th May 2025.

• Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 12:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.

• Financial bids will be opened after the technical evaluation is completed.

Important Notes:

• Late submissions will not be considered.

• Incomplete bids or those failing to meet the required format or documentation (including bid security, signatures, and stamps) will be declared non-responsive.
