Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), Pakistan’s leading public sector natural gas utility, is seeking proposals for the installation of on-grid solar systems at 10 of its sites across Pakistan. This initiative is part of the government's efforts towards energy efficiency and renewable energy development.

Tender Reference: SNGPL/NP&D/SOLAR/ST-001/2025

SNGPL intends to install net metering-based on-grid solar systems at 10 of its facilities in accordance with the directives from the Government of Pakistan and the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division). The project involves the installation, testing, and commissioning of these systems. SNGPL will provide the required solar panels and on-grid inverters for the project.

Who can apply? We invite sealed proposals from well-established companies or firms with significant experience in installing on-grid, net metering-based solar systems. The proposals should be submitted in two separate envelopes: one containing the Technical Proposal and the other containing the Financial Proposal.

Important Dates:

• Tender Documents Availability: Interested companies can purchase the tender documents from the SNGPL office until 24th April 2025. The non-refundable fee for the documents is Rs. 5000/- (via demand draft or pay order in favor of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited).

• Submission Deadline: All proposals must be submitted by 11:00 AM on 25th April 2025.

• Bid Bond: A bid bond worth Rs. 0.5 Million (valid for 120 days) must be included with your proposal.

Opening of Technical Proposals: The Technical Proposal will be publicly opened on 25th April 2025 at 11:30 AM. Only those companies whose Technical Proposals meet the required standards will have their Financial Proposal opened at a later date.
