Procurement of IT Equipment and Software

The Ministry of Defence, Government of Pakistan, invites sealed bids from eligible firms and suppliers, who are active taxpayers listed with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), for the supply and installation of IT equipment and software at the Ministry of Defence, Pak Secretariat-II, Rawalpindi.

List of Required Items:

1. Desktop Computers (Tower) – 100 units

2. Scanner (ADF) – 25 units

3. Computer Server (Rack Mounted / Blade) – 4 units

4. Computer Servers RAM 128GB – 8 units

5. Network Switches (Layer 2) – 10 units

6. Computer Server Rack (42U) – 1 unit

7. Network Cables (CAT6) Roll – 6 rolls

8. Network Patch Cords – 900 units

9. SAN (Storage Area Network) – 1 unit

10. Computer Power Cables – 300 units

11. UPS (650 Volts) – 100 units

12. Dry Batteries for UPS – 30 units

13. Antivirus Licenses (Client/Server) – 300 licenses

14. Windows 10 Licenses – 100 licenses

15. MS Office (latest version) Licenses – 100 licenses

16. Windows Server (latest version) – 4 licenses

17. LMS & Its Echo System – 1 system

18. Datacenter Relocation (Cabling, Fire Suppression System, Cooling System) – 1 project

Tender Details:

• Tender and bidding documents containing terms and conditions, evaluation criteria, and technical specifications can be obtained free of cost from the address mentioned below. They can also be downloaded from the Ministry of Defence and PPRA websites.

• A single-stage one-envelope procedure will be used for the procurement of IT hardware.

• A single-stage two-envelope procedure will be followed for the procurement of software.

Submission Instructions:

• Bids should be submitted in sealed envelopes. For software procurement, technical and financial proposals must be placed in separate envelopes and enclosed together in one main envelope.

• All bids must be addressed to the Director IT, Ministry of Defence, Pak Secretariat-II, Adam Jee Road, Rawalpindi.

• Bids must reach the office by 5th May 2025, no later than 11:00 AM.

• Bids for IT hardware will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who wish to attend.

Additional Information:

• Any clarification, if needed, can be requested via email.

• Vendors interested in meeting the Procurement Committee in person can do so at 11:00 AM on 24th April 2025.
